電車で綺麗なママに抱っこされた赤ん坊と目が合ったんだ。
やたらと目を合わせてくるので
「産まれたてでただだただ無力なオマエと語り合う事など何も無いぞ。」
と念を送ったら、ママのブラウスの襟首に手をかけて肩まで引きずり下ろしやがった。

剥き出しになった白いブラ紐にポンポンと手を当てながら
「お前のして欲しい事なんざ、お見通しさ兄弟。さあ、次はこれをどうして欲しいんだ兄弟。」
と言わんばかりに目を合わせてくるので、
「よくやったベイビィ。そのヒモを肩の外側に引き落とすんだ！」
と念を送ったら小っこい指で果敢にブラ紐と格闘し始めた。
しかし奮闘もそこまででママに気付かれ、その手にパシリと強烈な一撃の後、
ブラウスも肩紐も元の位置へ。次の駅で降車して行った。

降り際、「すまねえな兄弟。俺が非力なばっかりに。またな！兄弟！」
という半べそ顔のヤツの声がはっきりと聞こえた。

テレパシー能力に目覚めた、とある蒸し暑い夏の日の午後。
