最後にひと言。ここで涙は見せたくないのだが、これまでのTechCrunchで最高のコメントをもらったのは、何年か前私が「荒らし」への返信にこんな軽口を叩いた時のことだった、「これは私のブログ。だから私が書きたいことを書く」。その返信は「違うだろマイク、これは〈私たちの〉ブログ。君はここで働いているだけだ」。
結局それは真実である。TechCrunchはコミュニティーだ。すばらしいライターたち、すばらしい社員たち、そしてすばらしい読者たちによるコミュニティーだ。荒らしもいくらかいるが、彼らがいなければTechCrunchは違ったものになっていただろう。われわれ全員がTechCrunchであり、みなさんには、この本当に楽しく特別なことに参加してもらって感謝している。
